Moraine Lake and Lake Louise are two of the most popular Banff destinations, but planning a visit can be surprisingly tricky. Moraine Lake has no private vehicle access, and parking at Lake Louise is extremely limited, especially in peak season.

This half-day tour removes those hurdles by including round-trip transport from Banff and handling access for you.

You get to spend around 90 minutes at each lake. This gives you time to walk the shoreline trails, take your photos of the turquoise water, and spend some time taking in the mountain views. With transport and timing taken care of, you can focus on the experience rather than the logistics.

🚧 Banff extends its ban on new large-scale events. To combat rising tourism pressures, council has expanded the peak-season restriction from the September long weekend to Thanksgiving. Existing fixtures like Melissa’s Road Race are grandfathered under the policy, while smaller community events remain unaffected.

🏒 Be a Pro Hockey Camp returns to Canmore. Aspiring U11 and U13 players can train with professional coaches at the recreation centre from 6–10 July. Secure discounted early registration until 31 January while supporting local youth sports and charities.

🌲 Parks Canada confirms new 2026 reservation dates. Following an IT outage, Banff and Lake Louise bookings will now launch on 12 February. Waterton Lakes and other Alberta sites are postponed until 3 February to ensure system stability.
