Hi Everyone! Here's What’s Happening This Week!

Saturday afternoon at Cascade Creek, a few hundred people will take their clothes off and get into some very cold water. The annual naked swim runs 500 metres from the Parks Canada Park and Ride, which is either convenient or a warning, depending on your plans for the day. The RCMP turned up in 2022; the three editions since have gone unbothered.

You have until September 7 to enjoy any of this for free. That is when the Canada Strong Pass ends, and admission applies again for camping, hiking, or simply driving the Icefields Parkway.

That leaves under two weeks of free entry, which is enough time for the big lakes if you plan them properly. The full-day tour linking Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Emerald Lake and Johnston Canyon handles the shuttles and timing so you do not have to.

For a night that involves neither cold water nor parking strategy, the Rimrock has reopened after a property-wide reimagination - a new thermal bathhouse, four dining venues and a vinyl listening lounge above the Bow Valley.

Lake Louise and Moraine Lake take more planning than most visitors expect. This full-day tour keeps it simple, linking them with Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge and Johnston Canyon, so you can focus on the stops rather than the shuttles, parking and timing.

🐻 Bears Feeding on Berries Park-Wide. Black and grizzly bears are feeding along trails, roads and campgrounds throughout the parks, and are easily surprised. Carry bear spray, travel in groups, and report sightings.

☀️ Sunshine sticks around, but the thermostat's about to take a real dip - Wednesday stays mainly sunny at a warm 28°C, Thursday holds that sunshine at 26°C, and Friday cools off noticeably to 20°C, with still clear skies. Friday's the day you'll want that jacket back out. Full Forecast Here
