While What’s On Banff typically focuses on happenings within the town, this week we're heading up the mountain to spotlight the final stretch of the season at Banff Sunshine Village!

Through April and May, Sunshine is serving up a packed calendar of live music, wild competitions, and family-friendly fun to celebrate spring skiing in full swing.

Every weekend, the Untracked Concert Series brings Canadian bands to the slopes, creating an unbeatable après vibe at the Mad Trapper's beer garden.

Action heats up early with Pro Bowl Riding Sessions (April 4-6), showcasing top-tier tricks from skiers and snowboarders, followed by the adrenaline-pumping What the Huck and inclusive ShredAbility events on April 12. For a lighter touch, families can hop into the Easter Bunny & Egg Hunt on April 20.

April also features the RUDEGIRLS x UNLTD Community Ride Day (April 23), celebrating female riders, while May ramps up with the Leg Burner Banked Slalom (May 10), the always-wet-and-wild SlushShine Rail Jam (May 17), and the twisty Watergate Banked Slalom (May 18).

The season wraps with a splash at the legendary Annual Slush Cup on May 19, where brave souls skim icy waters in costume - a Banff springtime rite of passage!
